    He would probably have been thrown out at 3rd. That would have been a huge mistake and you can't take that risk down by 3, IMO. You gotta count on your #3 hitter being able to deliver. He didn't.

    No way he’s thrown out at third. ball was not hit hard and certainly not right at the left fielder. Cags should have been standing on 2nd. Watching game with a guy that played it and coached it for years and he said the same thing-that he should have been standing on third.

    Seems like Kurland had a poor read as it was oppo shot by Cags and with a slow start from first probably best not to go for third but apparently Cags rounded 1st, looking for second ... and seemed surprised that Kurland was standing there....Inning might have been different, but it is the little things that a team needs to do to win in this league. We have a way to go yet to be the team we expected at the start of the season.

    He came around second like he was going to third and then hit the brakes after looking towards third. I didn't see it, but I'm assuming there was a stop sign. Looked like Kurland and Taylor (I think that's who that is) had a conversation about whatever happened there in between innings.
