    Best way to deal with the slider…..Hit the fastball you see for a strike.

    DT saw a nice fastball and so did Garrison. Neither swung.

    In general, baseball players are superstitious - so numbers matter usually. sometimes a lot. there have been instances in MLB where a player has bought a number from another player for big bucks - probably just so he doesn't have to get all new necklaces and pendants.
