    St. Mary’s is a good team. Purnell has struggled on again off again for two years. This is not a surprise. We will be fine. Just have to hope Freshman mature quickly. Gamble with our staff and so many young arms as opposed to vets. Coppola could be a difference maker. All that being said, I think we are two pitchers away from being a very very good team

    Good points, and I'm not giving up on this team, but I'm also not basing my opinion/statement on one or two games. There's been enough evidence presented so far this season to warrant feeling nervous about this group as we get closer to conference play.
