Agreed the IF is a big If though. Hopefully we see him tomorrow and see a repeat performance approaching what he did last week.

 

Agree on the IF as I think our coaches still want and need to see more from him. Last week should go a long way towards getting him opportunities. Love to see him start and go 3-4 tomorrow and be followed up by Tejeda for 3-4.

 

3-4 seems like too much with possible Thurs - Fri games only if rain impacts the scheduling. If he goes out there and looks like he did last week, I'd pull him after 30+ pitches and have him on the ready for the Bama series. Also wouldn't put that many innings into 2 guys tonight - too many guys need to get out there.

 

I can agree with that. It will be entertaining to see how Sully navigates through it. Makes me wonder if Sully has settled on Nesbitt being the ongoing midweek starter.
