Baseball vs. Siena, Fri 3/10, 8:00 pm

The first softball game ended about 6 pm with UF run-ruling Mercer 14-3 in 5 innings. The Louisiana game is due to start in about 10 minutes and I haven't seen anything posted about a delay, but if baseball got delayed I imagine softball will too.

Weather Channel radar shows storms clearing out by 7:45.

 

It stopped raining here at the stadium. We had on and off heavy rain for about 30 minutes. Chairs are getting wiped. Puddles are still down 1st base line and out in RF track by the big gate. No grounds crew out yet.

 

In other news NC State and Miami no score top of 2 .. State is undefeated at 13-0 .. Miami ain’t !!!

 

Their HC has 54 years—“11” had 40 years—

Can you imagine how long it would’ve taken The Human Rain Delay to reach the mound from the dugout at 54 years in?……

Retiring this coming Monday as well. These are his last games and his last chance to knock off a major team.

 

Stadium announced baseball starts at 8 pm.

 

He announced is retirement and is not on the trip. It sounds like he will not coach any more games before his retirement takes place. His assistant took over as the head coach.
