Positives from Evans in the leadoff and Heyman seems to be coming around a bit.....plus McNeilie looks to be legit.
Just not sure what we do about the OF....every time we give someone a shot they don't hit (Guy, Yost, Russell, Robertson). I guess Donay gets the shot tomorrow. I'm ready for Shelnut back to the OF and give Mummau a shot at 3b

 

At least they showed heart and made it fun at the end. Hasn't been fun for over a minute.

 

Appreciate the sentiment, but this group is way, way past moral victories. Preseason #2 team in the country and is now just a bad baseball team. There's no other way to put it.

This was a must-win series, and probably needed a sweep considering what we have ahead. Now we're in danger of getting swept. Hopefully Cags comes out tomorrow much better than he did last outing and we can salvage a W. I keep thinking we're going to turn the corner, but it just never happens. I guess this is who we are. It just doesn't make sense how we're this bad.

Should've been multiple ejections in the Miss St-Ole Miss Saturday night game for celebrations but unsurprisingly that only appears to apply to us. If there was even an attempt at consistency it would be fine but I'm sure moron Sankey and the fellas in Birmingham have much more pressing issues like justifying their absurd salaries.

 

What makes you think SEC office cares about development of a quality baseball structure? It has only been recent years that they discovered basketball. The dormat of the bsb tournament is proof that profits for cronies in Bham are more important than getting teams into playoffs with healthy, rested pitchers. Happy people in Alabama is the priority. BTW I don't necsssarily mean teams there.
