You think the lower seed should advance if the game cannot be played? Have to believe you’d feel differently if we were hosting.
I was expecting to see this too with the theory that Clemente is better starting a clean inning vs coming into the game in a jam situation. I think Jameson can do either, but he’s more acclimated to coming into the game in more difficult situations. I’m sure they’ll both see the field today.

They will do everything they can to get the game played. Ending someone's season due to weather would be ridiculous.
3pm on ESPN News isn't a huge draw. I agree it's all about the money, but 3pm on ESPN News or 9am on ESPN+ ain't going to make a huge difference. I would like to have a lead after 5 innings though as any official game would count.

Good strikeout pitcher.. 147 batters and 63 Ks.. Hopefully the Gators show discipline. I believe they have only used 3 pitchers in the series. So their pen should be ready. GO GATORS
This discussion happens almost every year and usually it's because of rainsville. This year we're involved just in a different location and different situation. I do not recall it ever happening where a team advanced by default. The NCAA will do everything they possibly can to play the games.But there has to be a failsafe if weather were to eliminate everything. The rule is the same for the shooters as well as for softball.
