Well, I think everybody is happier when @Gatorgal04 is calling opposing hitters “schmuck’s” rather than referring to the game as becoming a little too interesting…..

Not trying to be pedantic but WTH…if a man likes a liquor you don’t so be it. Some morons overpay for something their palate isn’t refined enough to appreciate because muh-reasons. Oh well…I’ll shut up. Go Gators.

Seems like the disadvantage of bracket 2 starting a day later. Got to catch up at some point before the finals.

Byrne could get guys chasing balls in the dirt. Either strikes or weak grounders.

I was traveling today but listened to every pitch. I wonder when the Gator opponents are going to fully realize JAC is our offense and just pich around him every AB. Other guys gotta step up.
    Great game Go Gators.

Just a hunch based on the velo issues, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jac doesn't pitch again.

Unless maybe it's at some point in the championship series, in which case, good problem to have.

Man what a performance by NC State’s Whitaker. 2 hits and 10 Ks in 7 innings. But Cags, Fisher, and Neely did just enough. As Cags said, we’re still here.

Should be an interesting game tomorrow regardless of opponent.

Personally I want to see kentucky tomorrow night and TAMU on Wednesday and thursday.

After Saturday night they are owed a little repayment quickly.

Well, UF is one of the last six standing and its pitching, outside Neely in the bulllpen, has been pretty bad for most of the season.

UF won today by hitting two HRs to NC State’s one. The Pack had six hits and UF had four and both teams combined to strike out 23 times. In the end Shelnut’s HR was the difference. In yesterday’s loser bracket game, Virginia outhit the Noles 10-7 but FSU hit three HRs and won going away.

Kentucky is the only team in Omaha to hit under 100 HRs and they are definitely a small ball-type team that can win the whole thing. But as a whole, baseball is all about hitting the long ball these days and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
