Good timing on the game weatherwise.

Tomorrow's game time forecast looks delightful especially for a lefthanded hitter. Mid 70's with a strong wind blowing out to right.

His PG profile indicates he will be 21 this summer, and of course he was at UF last year. It was a really nice catch, maybe not worth your 4 posts on it lol. But Robertson hasn't "suffered" by following Jud, he has been rightly applauded for good plays and on a very few occassions justly criticized for some struggles at the fence.
Just like every player on the roster is treated.

That was an exciting game, kind of like a Missouri boat ride.

Neely pitched two innings I believe. If necessary could he pitch a few tomorrow?

It's not so much the innings pitched, but the number of pitches thrown. Slater threw 42 pitches, Neely 43, so I doubt O'Sullivan will use them tomorrow. Maybe to try to get 1 or 2 batters out in a key situation, but Sully is well known for not overusing his pitchers and protecting their arms for their future.

Good solid win- a character builder. Sitting behind the plate, I could see from the start that Waldrep was having command issues on all of his pitches. It's a sign of his mental toughness that he battled and pitched into the 5th. Slater was solid before running out of gas and...it's very good to have Neely back!
Shelnut had a terrific day -- a great approach and results at bat-- staying back and driving the ball where it was pitched. Hoping Sully keeps him in RF and if Gators are leading- bring in defensive replacement as he did today. Good to win the series and hope we can get tomorrrow's game in and the complete the sweep.

Note: on another post, I asked about Lastres' status and why he was not getting any playing time or reps. Well today I saw that he's injured. He was not running with the rest of the players nor ctaching the pitchers in the outfield... and was doing some low impact agility excercises with one of the trainers on the sidelines.

Amazing how dropping Langford to second in the lineup produces instant productivity from his bat. He had 3 RBIs today to get his SEC total up to 7. Good to see him hitting the ball again instead of waiting for walks.

I like walks especially in front of Cags and Rivera.

OBP is a better stat than BA.

Kurland struggling at leadoff, though. 1 hit in the 3 games since he was reinserted there.

I think Langford leads the team on OBP. He should lead off.

Now Sully might be playing a deeper game with mind games with his players.
