I know Ty got hurt someohow opening night and missed the rest of that series. But since he's come back he's really struggled. Looks lost, like he's lost his confidence. Not like him at all.

Definitely needs to re-establish his timing at the plate.

He’s always been a bit streaky, imo. I like having someone to push him. Where he’s really shined the last few years is after coming back from a stretch on the bench, either due to injury or performance. Wilson and Yost have kinda been the same. Benched for a while, then come in to pinch hit and go on a tear. Having them all pushing each other will be good for us. Several other guys pushing for pt out there too.

Sully definitely loves Ty and will try to het him going, but we’ll have three or four guys trying to take up the slack too.

Well, it’s always good to take the series but a bitter pill to perform poorly in the finale.

Get your heads right for the next game up Gators and
Thanks again @Gatorgal04 for making our game experience better than anybody else’s.

Hey just a reminder --- Other teams are good too. Congrats to Miami today. I hate losing but that is baseball.

@UCF and vs FAU will be far from easy games, so Gators need to come ready!

    Saw the game in person.

Clemente looked sharp through three innings and then the wheels fell off. I know that I am being Captain Obvious. It is not like he couldn't pitch from the stretch. Sometimes a pitcher is great from a full wind up and then can't find the plate from the stretch. He did a great job getting the second Cane batter to hit into a double play to third after a lead-off walk so I don't think that was the problem.

The Miami starter had a very live two seamer but struggled to locate it in the first inning. I told my son that we had better get to him now before he settles in.
He also had a crisp curve but he didn't have 100% command. When he threw it right it was a really nice pitch. The guy has some good stuff.

One thing that puzzled our pitchers all game was that the home plate blue wasn't going to call any low strikes. He was consistent all game. But we kept trying to get that pitch and never did.

Walks and HBP really came to bite us in the butt. Again channeling my Captain Obvious.

Still taking two of three is not a bad outcome. And some seldom used freshman arms got to see what it is like to pitch against a decent line-up. I hope that they learn from it.
