74, since your first comment was about our rotation, does that mean that you may have actually heard of Hugus? I think this might be a first!
That’s good stuff—I think the only time I’ve ever posted I heard of him was in 2020 when we faced Casey Mize when he was at Auburn.
To the person wondering about checking McNeillie's hands, since the Georgia pitcher last year was caught doctoring the ball, umpires now check the hands and glove of an incoming pitcher. They also check when the pitcher is taken out. Understand coming in but leaving is a mystery to me. First time we had three players plucked last night. Good news, Jeff Head not behind the plate today. Bad news, he's at third. Hope we don't have any plays there today. More bad news, he'll be at second tomorrow. Quote of the day:"You can't buy happiness...but you can buy whiskey and that's pretty much the same thing."
I think the key game of this series was March 7 , 1975 8-2 Gators. Not sure who the starter for UF was that lovely afternoon in Gainesville . I’ll try and look it up.
If memory serves me correctly it was a lefty with a yellow hammer duce and he left drag marks all over the mound.
