No, but good chance we see him for 2-3 if we are still playing Monday.

Got to do something for sure. Defensively he has to be in there, especially if you are getting nothing extra offensively from guy replacing him.

I just don't think Sully is going to change the lineup that he's used during the CWS.

Why do you think Rivera was so chill and relaxed? Are you under the impression "this means a great deal" only applies to LSU and not UF?
Why do I imagine you also might have complained they were tight and not playing loose if they were unsuccessful in a different fashion?

Yeah wasn’t nearly as bad as it looked on tv. Our colors stand out less than obnoxious purple and yellow. Plus a lot of fans wear white for some reason.

The guy replacing him hit the double that essentially won the game that got us here

Truth be told if we won that game it would have been the definition of completely stealing a game we had no business being in. They left something like 16 or more runners on base had more hits 17 strikeouts from their pitcher etc. and we are still within inches of taking the game. Would have broke their backs had they lost. They needed game 1 more than we did. We need to bounce back and if we do, game 3 is ours.

Not just related to this game but Sully really needs to re-evaluate how we are pitching in 0-2 situations. So frustrating to see hitters getting pitches they can crush when we have them 0-2. We lucked out against TCU not so lucky tonight.

    Mat—

I don’t disagree with how we are succeeding in our pitching in 0-2 situations. However it’s kinda hard to know whether it’s the pitch calling (On Sully) or lack of execution (Location—on our pitchers).

Either way, 0-2 ought to have our guys smelling blood in the water and apparently it does not.

You could tell from BT's set up and reaction that Cade missed his spot on White's dinger.

I agree. Even on base hit to left I think if Shelnut charges he’s got play at plate. LSU May have sent him with Wyatt in left but I think Wyatt hoses the kid.

One team was over-anxious. The other focused. Difference in the game.

With the wind blowing out, it seemed as if so many guys were over swinging wanting to be the hero. I think some of out batters were frustrated at not hitting and allowed that frustration to further affect their game. It's like playing bad golf, bad hits add frustration/anger that snowballs into anger swings.

A wise scout told that you put the ball in play against lsu and you have a chance. The left side of their infield is garbage. We are seeing this today.

JUST PUT THE BALL IN PLAY!
