gump has never even been in the same time zone as a BB title (Sweet 16 is their best under Wimp Sanderson). They lost the final to TX in '89 in Omaha with their David Magadan-led team.

 

Yes he is, but I was so glad that of all teams to win the title over, it was LSU.

 

That may well be true. But both events combined must have a significant percent of their fan base hating the Gators. I like our position here.

 

Trust me, most of the LSU fans would rather go swimming in the Mississippi River full of gators with a meat bikini on than to lose to Florida after that stuff with the football teams. Then for it to happen in their most sacred sport of baseball in what was basically a home game for them.

 

I am still overjoyed for these Gator boys. Great job, guys!

the first time we won a basketball natty we were a 3 seed. And we all remembered what happened the next season. Maybe there's a pattern here and we repeat

 

Don't forget the softball team(although they were a 5 seed) when they won their first title, they came back and won again the next season too.
