Baseball vs KY, Fri 5/10, 3:30 pm

Better to get worked on base a little bit for two days rather than a lot the day prior in my opinion

 

Today’s weather looks like a real shoot…..

 

Rain ending at 3:30 or 4. Perfect for 6 or 6:30 start!

 

here in Irvine had a short squall with some stiff winds, gloomy but no rain at noonish here

 

It did the same here in town. Hope it took it easy going through Shiloh. I don't need my internet or power out this afternoon during the game.

 

Hanging out in Ocala we barely got a sprinkle. Waiting to see if it's worth the risk to drive up later or not.

 

Rained hard with heavy wind out in Alachua earlier. No rain for the last few hours and power is finally back on.

Wow Thomas is starting on 3rd. Robertson has to sit and Yost is in CF. Don't mind Yost playing but Robertson sits for Thomas to play. Oh boy.

Special note is taken that their 3rd sacker is also hitting in the nine hole just like ours…

 

Does anyone think Shelly was terrible at third? Worse than Dale? Would any of you trade Dale’s bat for Mikey’s d given the choice?

At least Coppola did not start warming up yet. Maybe he has a chance for a few innings today.

 

Exactly, I have to credit Shelnut for making very few errors at third. He has little to no range and slow reaction to get to many ground balls but Thomas hasn't proven himself fielding the position. I'd take Shelnut over Thomas any day at 3rd.
