Isn’t the conference tournament for all, not just a handful of qualifiers? Could a small part of problem be conference record doesn’t matter, we’re in conference tournament anyway and that’s where we’ll stake our claim? Goodness, but I hope that’s not a strategy.
In years gone by, we struggled with midweeks/excelled on weekends. Seems as if the tables have turned. I’m sure there’s a laundry list, but wow…..the past 2 weekend series have been unacceptable. If the portal players aren’t SEC caliber, why are they on the roster? If it’s to fill an opening….that’s not acceptable either. It’s baffling.
