The crowd was bigger on Saturday at over 7600 mentioned on the radio postgame. Friday night was 6000 something. I recall saying to the guys around me the crowd was bigger tonight because it was hard finding any pockets of empty seats.

I wonder if we are even thinking of adding seats at some point in the future. Or... in which part of the stands could we add... down the road of course.

My recommendation is to extend the concrete stadium and go with metal bleachers from the seats currently and going half way down to the corners with bleachers and the blue shade screens. You would add about two more sections down each line. These would still be GA seats like we had at The Mac and replace some of the berm grass areas. I think bleachers would add more capacity instead of people spreading out on blankets. If they did they would have to add more infrastructure like more bathrooms and concessions some how and more parking as well. I believe the original idea for the berms was prep for additional seating when the crowd supported it. Most on here will not want the bleachers and would rather want to extend the seating. I'm hoping they do the bleachers to offer another price point for season ticket holders, instead of expecting people to sit on a sloped grass berm. These seats will be facing the outfield so I would hope they would not expect the same price as the blue shade screen seats that face first and third bases.

Huge backward step - are you on a mission to take a great stadium and turn it into crap lol. IMO You don’t build a $60 million stadium and then “upgrade” it by adding bleacher seating.

Why not add some more capacity? We are going to need it in the near future.

First time sitting in the berm. It’s great for families. I wouldn’t change a thing. Go Gators

They may add capacity but I can’t imagine bleacher seating is the plan: also from what I can tell berm seating is very popular. It’s not for me but younger people and those with kids seem to enjoy that option.

Yeah, I would want them to try and find a way to add capacity that does not interfere with the berms.

I'd actually like to see them raise the berms about 10 higher.

good point - change that to team psychologists. Can’t let these guys have access to psychotropic meds.

That might have been the most high leverage relief situation we have had this season 1-1 in the 8th and Ryan Slater came in and navigated thru the heart of their lineup. Huge performance from him on a night where our bats were quiet.

Perhaps because there is no double play possibility and a medium length fly ball wins the game. Perhaps Ga should have intentionally walked Robertson but probably thought he was their best chance to pitch to; that didn’t work out well!!!

No, Robertson then Langford coming up would be very difficult to get them both on a double play other than a perfect one hopper. It would have been more troubling for Georgia to load the bases and be worried they walk home the winning run.

I was thinking that Sully’s well aware that the dawgs practice the safety squeeze a good bit themselves (as evident in this game) so every time they practice executing it they also are practicing defending it so let Robinson swing away.
