Well everything’s still the same—good sliders make you look silly, and hung sliders leave the yard.

This is the first outing that I have seen King struggle with command. He was out of sinc (to my eyes anyway) with his changeup. It’s the only time I have seen him slow his arm speed down throwing it. That’s a sure sign of trying to guide the pitch instead of trusting the arm speed and release.

I’ve got to wonder if moving his start up a day three starts in a row affected his routine to the point of lack of timing.

Hopefully the misfire has nothing to do with his health.

Yep, and Lawson - who made that error might well be our SS next year. Was very highly ranked SS coming out of HS. He is going to be good for the Gators for a while
