what is his team? The team he took to Omaha was made up of mostly 5th and 6th year guys, a product of the covid non sense. He will not be able to have that same team again. he can get guys out of Portal that are older but dont think he will come close to his '22 team

 

nope, was hoping for a little better opp. rpi than 13. but that should be high enough for AU to not drop much after a road sweep.

the real bad news is playing N Ala tonight w/ their 292 rpi.. anyway to get that rain to head west around 7?? or could be like 'defending champs' last year and just cancel it for no reason other than protect rpi.. zero chance of that

Losing 68 rpi points w/ a win tonight,, drops from 20th to 30 ish. rather not play and stay at 20 I think

 

So this game will be made up in Jacksonville Tuesday 05/02 after our home series with Mizzou and before leaving for our series vs the Aggies at College Station.

We have a top 5 coach who has absolutely owned Free Shoes University. I’ll take Sully over Link any day.

UF fans should pray Sully doesn’t decide to explore other opportunities or spend more time with his family before Stricklin is fired, though. We definitely don’t want Stricklin hiring any more coaches.

 

I think that Sully is one of the best if not the best college coach. All I am saying is that I think Link is an upgrade at FSU and will give us some grief over time compared to the Martins.

 

Been working in the yard today taking advantage of the overcast skies here in Jacksonville. Quit about 15 minutes ago and now it is pouring rain. Looks like the decision to postpone was correct even though I was all set to see the boys put another whoopin on the holes!

 

Not raining yet in Gainesville. Hoping to get some ground chuck burgers on the grill soon.

yep its pointless game other than killing the rpi.. 1st full year of D1 i think for UNA. I get why playing them, but rather just write them a check and not play them..lol but reallly entire state down this year,, except Troy maybe as far as mid week options. Not usually the case.

What I dont get is they did a home & hoime w/ UNA,,thats a long bus ride. Why not just do that w/ a FSU, Jax,Ga Southrn, etc. But again,,helping baby brother out w/ their budget

1st game since first weekend line up full strength at least, Now just need top 2 starters back.

Figured they would get all pitchers some work since literally all about the same, but let 1 guy go all 7.. Hes been best starter last month(all mid week starts). Wont see him this weekend lol
