Nice. I’ll be in Switzerland next week. Beautiful country. Hoping gators continue to win. Preferably without as many extra innings. lol

After that walk off, I think it was Bissetta who tossed the ball up to some GATOR fans in the OF. Those GATOR fans got that ball back to Mikey, who was still grinning ear-to-ear as most of these boys were.

The crowd was a passionate bunch; the music was just a bit over the top (literally just about every pitch; DJ probably got disciplined if he missed one); lots of tailGATORing going on before the game, plenty of space for it all around the stadium as it shares space for football tailGATORS as well. That Clemson team had some fight in it, so happy for our boys that they came out on top. Overall outstanding atmosphere for baseball; their stadium configuration was the same orientation as the Mac; they tried a roof thing, and it covers about 3 or 4 people until the sun gets low enough in the sky. They do not sell beer there, and like Oklahoma State, they let people leave and come back during NCAA play (not sure why we can't do that as well).

A couple of blowhards were still blaming the umps after the game, but most fans that we came across afterwards were anywhere from pleasant to wishing us well in Omaha. And I have no problem with those who were more upset; that's the nature of the beast. I'd love to come back for more baseball games up there.

I just saw in the video that Gal posted that Mikey was 0-7 with bases loaded on the year. Lots of wow all the way around today. Really fun game, and especially fun to see the dog piling!

    Go GATORS!

We are in Zermatt about to go up and hopefully see the Matterhorn. Weather is partly cloudy so it's iffy. Bring plenty of money. ...

Gitz-Gadi restaurant is incredible. Cablecar to the top of a mountain, jaw dropping views, great food and service at the top, and then they lend you sleds to get back down to your hotel/Airbnb. So fun, and unforgettable!

Softball or baseball-I don't think it should be allowed in either sport-just drop your bat-no need for theatrics.

I visited one of their message boards after the game. As it turns out, the umps were on the take and that's the only reason Klimpsum lost. Calling for an investigation.

I noticed that too. Of course fans of losing teams are always going to be more focused on the refs, but this case seems to be an example of a full on conspiracy theory.

If you browse Gator message boards after a tough loss in any sport you'll see the same complaints from many of our fans. Nature of the beast when passionate fans are involved.

Yeah, there was a lot more conspiracy talk than what I reported. Some of them are saying the NCAA is obviously in cahoots with the SEC. It's all about money.

I didn’t understand Jack Leggett on the field either (even though he’s a legend up there) at first. But because the warnings had already been issued making ejections next, I thought both Leggett and their HC got themselves ejected to defer attention away from the player that spiked his bat after hitting a HR. I guess their reasoning was to keep the player in the game.

It is reported that Jack Leggett, who is on the coaching staff but not an "on field" coach, was upset that they issued a warning to Clemson player but had not issued a warning to Cags when he "did the same thing". His ejection would be pretty much automatic once he stepped onto the field to argue.

Give the guy a break. I'm sure he felt like a bust after he couldn't rack up the win, and he's surely nursing a heartache and a sore arm this morning.

That's really cool of Bissetta to toss the ball to the Gator fans, and cool of them to get the ball back to Robertson! That will be a keepsake for a long time.

It's always interesting how, post-game, there are a handful of people that were never worried during a game. That knew all along the Gators would prevail. When exactly yesterday did they know that? And could they share that insight with everyone else moving forward? It would make following games so much less stressful. So, was it?

    1. Before the game.
    2. End of the first. 2-0 UF
    3. End of the fifth. 5-4 UF
    4. End of the sixth. 7-4 UF
    5. End of the eighth. 9-6 UF
    6. End of the ninth. 9-9 Ruh Roh!
    7. End of the thirteenth. 11-10 UF Boom!
