Baseball vs. Cincinnati, Sat 2/25, 4:00 pm

I am staying home to cook dinner and watch the game on TV.

One problem that we have is that we have a puppy and can't leave her alone for hours. Tonight she was with friends. Tomorrow I will tend to her while I prepare dinner and watch the game on TV. On Sunday my wife will take her to her law office whilst she works and I attend the game.

 

With Cincy starting a lefty does that mean Sully is less likely to put Halter back out there since he is a LHH? Or does Sully keep him in because he got 2 hits tonight? Cags will be in as the DH with Riopelle still catching and either Fabian or Shelnut at first? Shelnut is my pick at 3rd for tomorrow.

 

Any word on Robertson for tonight? If he is out I'm interested to see if Sully goes with Langford again leading off. I believe he will because that's the way scrimmages have been most every time MR leading off for one team and WL leading off for the other. Just for once it would be great to see Kurland give it a shot since he has an OB% of .667.

I watched Sully's postgame and he said they will have to reconfigure the lineup with Mikey out. Said he likes keeping Langford and Cags back to back and that Kurland is really doing well. Nothing was a direct answer as to who will leadoff but it sure sounds like he is considering Kurland. Said Robertson tweaked his knee a little.

 

Ok Gators, let’s keep swinging those bats and it’s time to clean up the rest of our game!

Looks like we’re screwed again today with Dish-they’ve even got a pre-recorded “working on it” on their “customer service” line that plays and then hangs up-there’s no talking to a live person.

 

I think our bats are fine- what's missing is much better and smarter pitching (too many free passes) and D needs to tighten up some. Evans seems to be having trouble picking up the ball in RF at times and I thought Robertson- either misplayed or loss sight of the ball on the play where he hurt his knee- he broke slowly on the ball and slightly overran it and then jumped and landed awkwardly. Play should have been made plus a tweak of the knee to boot.

 

My offer stands, but need to do it soon. Have to pick the wife up at the airport around gametime and she’ll probably want to eat on the way home, so it’ll be halfway through the game before I get home, at least.

 

I really appreciate your offer but we’ve got so much bundled together right now I’m just going to ride it out. Thanks @paidinfull.

 

@74nole They have been hit by a ransomware attack. I would speculate the weekend series is not going to be available.

Dish Network goes offline after likely cyberattack, employees cut off

A source in touch with a Dish Network employee told BleepingComputer that the network "has been hit" (by a cyber attack) with employees seeing "blank icons" on their Desktop—something that typically occurs after a ransomware infection encrypts the victim's files.

Hours after publication of this piece, another Dish Network employee contacted us stating that Dish has indeed been "cyber attacked."

The employee reports receiving a written message from their manager that the incident "was caused by an outside bad actor, a known threat agent" and that the company is unsure how they gained access.

The email goes on to say that the company is working with an external vendor to resolve the issue.

I'm going to a friend's house to watch the game via YouTube TV, so won't be posting on the thread during the game. Haven't read anywhere about the seriousness of Robertson's injury, but since he missed all of last season, I sure hopes it's nothing serious. Go Gators!!
