Hey we win! A W is a W- we battled back from an early deficit. Tejeda did alright... I saw him pitch a few times in scrimmages and liked what I saw - a very lively arm with good movement and believe he will be solid on the mound in the near future. Clearly, the heat (90 degrees- with sun blasting right onto the mound) and some nerves got to him in the first inning as we witnessed in plain view and perhaps a steady diet of FBs caught up with him on the oppo. HR but he settled down and did fine in his innings. Keep on eye on him- once he fully settles into the college game. I predicted earlier he would be in the running for a weekend SP slot next year. The talent is there.
