Why would you put an infielder at second with a strong arm? Third and SS could use cannons. 2B needs quick feet and hands for the DP.

He was throwing rainbows to first up the middle or on DP’s and I just saw him throw on line from behind 2nd base to first so I asked what everyone else was seeing….

 

Maybe he didn't have his feet set when he threw "rainbows" so he threw something that wouldn't go over Cags head.

Like I said I didn't see the play.

Better to throw a weak "rainbow" than to "airmail" a throw to first.

 

Time for us to start hitting. Neely is doing his job even with that to run Home run. He’s been quality.
