What a great win over a good team! I watched the Ladies game and then this game.
Great wins for both teams.
I noticed ut's coach Vitello wearing a baseball uniform #22. I don't think I've see that before.
Is it usual for a coach to wear a baseball uniform?

 

Love it. On vacation in Scotland, it’s 4:00 am and I can’t sleep, decide to check the Gators softball and baseball scores, fingers crossed that we win, only to find out that the ladies did indeed win and the guys are still playing, and winning too! Life is good. Go Gators!

 

Yes they wear them but they’ve usually got some kind of pullover or jacket on too.

 

Outstanding win and our guys K'd 18 Vols- beautiful.
I must say, from the CF camera angle, HP blue appeared to be wildly inconsistent with his strike zone. Neely who is a strike thrower and knows the zone was clearly perturbed by the missed calls- despite his striking out the side. Abner outstandig and seems to be our top middle relief guy now. Sproat did what needed to be done. Great win- let's see what the weather holds. It seems to me the Vols are ripe for the picking this year.

I always thought it was funny that coaches wear baseball unis..can you imagine football and basketball coaches wearing their respective team's uniforms lol

 

I’ve never been in a dugout in street clothes during a game is all I can say.

 

Back in the day some coaches/mangers played at the same time. I believe Joe Torre was one.

 

The legendary Connie Mack wore a dress suit in the dugout while he managed the Philadelphia A’s

 

It's a baseball thing.

 

I am delighted with the improvement of Abner especially with his control. When he's not wild he's throwing first rate pitches.

He's nicely helped our bullpen.

Just saw from Nic on the other site his ERA is now 1.06!
