Is the weather going to affect the schedule for the weekend up there?

 

I just looked at TWC for Knoxville this weekend-looks like it’s gonna be kinda wet.
Friday—11% chance of rain
Saturday—54% chance of rain
Sunday—68% chance of rain

 

Another website shows Peterson is our Friday night starter, Aiden King for Saturday.

 

Peterson, King and TBA... Meaning Jake is likely unavailable. The SEC Student Athlete Availability Report is due out tonight at 710CDT... Maybe we'll get some insights on Clemente, Kurland, Menendez and Coppola status.

I just looked at this report—it listed Jones, Kurland, Coppola, and Menendez as OUT with no insights listed. No mention of Clemente FWIW.

 

Yes 74, I saw that too.. maybe Clemente is on "day-to-day" or maybe Sully is messing with their minds. Menendez a loss -- a quality LHP given Vols LHH. My take, with weather likely a factor after Friday-- lets' go all out to grab the Friday night game and worry about the rest of the weekend.. later. Hand these guys a loss.

Anybody know anything on Menendez? Was unaware and then saw undisclosed.
Need a lefty or two this weekend to step up big, especially with UT’s bats.

 

Arkansas still listed as having 1116 draft picks since 2008. We can pick on them for their lack of SEC Titles, but you have to respect having that many players drafted in such a time span.

Weather Underground shows Knoxville clear today with no rain. Low 70's at first pitch. Saturday shows rain in the morning, then again late in the evening. Cloudy with slight chance of rain between Noon and 8 pm. Sunday shows thunderstorms during the night and into the early morning, but clearing up by 8 am and good weather the rest of the day, but cooler - low to mid 60's.

 

We did give them their first & worst loss of the season in basketball. No reason we cannot do the same this weekend in baseball…

 

Saturday Game vs. Tennessee Moved to 3:30 PM - Florida Gators

 

Really hoping Tennessee wins tonight. I'd be sooo upset knowing all of their fans have to drive (or pedal) home with their first defeat of the season at home to their rivals from measly Gainesville. That would be heartbreaking. Plus I hear many of them may not be able to swim and all those Tennessee tears could cause challenges.
