Don't recall anyone saying he was afraid....but several correctly pointed out that he had some struggles making plays at the track/wall. These were discussion points during games, why the boards exist.
Doesn't make him afraid, doesn't mean people are "being hard on him", doesn't mean people don't like him. It was an area of concern that was being discussed. Just like people don't dislike Langford and aren't "being hard on him" because he has had some issues in CF last few games.
Good for Robertson making a special play. Would be great if that wakes up his bat as well.

 

Michigan won baseball in 62 and Ohio state in 66. Might have reversed those but Michigan, Ohio state and Florida are the 3 schools listed to win all 3 major sports. So florida is the only school to win all 3 in the last near 60 years. A lot has changed since then due to population distribution in the U.S. point is, it's damn impressive to do so in the modern era.

Stanford and OK State both claim a football NC. Technically all football NCs are claimed since the NCAA does not award the trophy.

But some claims are better than others. UCF for example claims a NC that everyone knows Alabama won.

 

Yale came close with two CWS runner-ups. Princeton has been to Omaha once and Harvard 4 times, no titles for any of them.

Great job Gatorgal. I was on a plane and couldn’t access the score until we landed in about the 7th inning. I read through 5-6 posts to find the score and thought, crap, we are getting clobbered only to find out we were up 2-1! There are a few negative nellies on this forum.
