I head to Kodiak a week from Sunday. Alaska is an unbelievable state.

 

Since our loss in the Regionals, Gator baseball has been absolutely fantastic. What a blast.

Pre kids I used to post a lot, but just lurking for YEARS...especially in baseball game threads. I feel like I know a lot of you though I'm invisible, and getting the news from GatorGal is way better for me...

I can get stuff done with the family, quietly follow the threads without being (as big) a lunatic...and watch the replays happily when we win...

I'm ridiculous but it works for me. Thank you all (especially GatorGal and 74nole)...I feel like I'm in it with a family.

Alaska is awesome. Have been twice. Kenai Fjords and Denali are both spectacular. 2 for 2 seeing Mount McKinley.

Spent over a week in Juneau all expenses paid for a joint Japan/US combustion meeting back in the 1980's. We were told to get the cheapest possible airfare and I was the winner/loser. Jax to Dallas to LA to Seattle to Juneau and then back the same way. About 20 hours airport to airport.

Air Force Two was parked at the Juneau airport because Bush the Elder was fly fishing for salmon.

 

No no no!

Cant wash that sumbich til it's all said and done.

There might be some key mojo lodged in the skank.

What a great year at the Condron! Wrap it up and know the last two weekends are exactly why that stadium is there. Sure they can still make a few improvements but hats off to the staff and those at UF for pulling off an amazing 8 days. Tickets are going to be harder to get next season so be ready.

The Gators have exceeded everything we had originally hoped for this year at the ballpark. Now its time to see how the cookie crumbles out in Omaha. I believe things are setting up quite well if we can win our first two. Waiting to see what Wake Forest really has if they can make the finals or not. A reminder we will play our first game on Friday either at 2 PM or 7 PM. Then our next game will be on Sunday at 2 or 7 depending on rain and if we won or lost the first game.

Thanks again Gators for showing up this weekend. Thank you @Gatorgal04 for every day and night you spent there this year covering all of our games and thru every weather delay that came our way. I had hoped if this team came together they could rally the Gator faithful around a winner. That was great to see and will pay off in seasons to come. So give a cheer for the Orange and Blue waving forever. Go Gators!!!

 

50-15, This team has as good of a shot at the best won/loss record of any Gator team ever, if the chips fall our way. I did not realize that until I looked at Florida Baseball history. Been some great teams and this team snuck up on it in my mind. I love the way we have bashed teams throughout the year, but the pitching of late has been superb!

Hoping we figure something out for the CWS w regard to CF. I’d sacrifice the hitting for the defense and keep Wyatt in left.
