What a big win on the road in hostile territory after being way down. I cannot underscore how important taking the first game of this series was as even if this Ole Miss team starts 1-5 or 0-6 in the SEC they will be a team that people will have to worry about late in the year.


Cags was awesome with two big dingers.


Rivera was Rivera with a great game overall.


Kurland- what can you say about this kid… Completely overmatched his first three at bats and then comes up with a huge three run double. Kid is money.


Mikey Robertson with two clutch defensive plays and 3 walks. Kid is always on base. Don’t forget his throw home to cut down a runner changed things.


Abner- was a bit up-and-down but overall kept us in it so you have to give him big-time kudos.

I look for a few line up changes in 2nd game.


I probably forgot somebody but I’m just happy we won this marathon.

 

I wonder if Bianco had to change his pants before he went out.

 

I loooooooooooove come from behind wins.

Shows great grit and character. Love it!!

Fun game to watch. Heart rate got up there several times. Great game to win Game 1 on the road in front of a huge crowd. Sproat far from his best, but Abner picked him up and the bats came alive at the end. We stranded 11 and struck out 10 times, but got 7 walks. Excellent win. Now shower, eat a little and get 'em again.

 

Like our position pitching wise going into game 2. Great comeback on the road for this team, especially with Ole Miss coming in 0-3. Sully went with just about all of our best hitters. So props to him for getting Langford and Prevesk in at the same time. Heyman is the only other good bat still waiting. Let's go Gators and get the series right here.

 

I will have to say along with Thank You as always for your efforts that you showed great courage in not labeling game 1 as “interesting”….you must know what’s in store and are holding it in reserve…..

 

Abner, time well spent today. He was the difference I think.

Murrell is probably Rebs best middle relief guy also.

Our opponent for next weekend, the Badnews Barners are getting throttled by the butt sniffers 24-7 in the bottom of the 8th.

I Kurland's bouncer bouncer to 3rd was just a little higher in the 9th we would have had two more instead of ending the inning. What can I say, I'm greedy. Probably good to save a few more for game 2.
