Haven't scored since 2nd inning..we seem to score early..then get stuck after the other team goes ahead..can think of several games this has happened this year

 

What I've been seeing is much deeper than pitching issues. We simply cannot get hits with runners in scoring position. Very few quality at bats, bad approaches at the plate - just generally not with it mentally. Am I wrong?
