    No argument on that—I see his defense as better but if he’s trying to pull the ball it’s routine ground balls or lazy fly balls. The last game I saw him he did take two outer half pitches to the left center field warning track, they were well struck, but he was 0-fer.

    I was worried that we wouldn’t get up to face Missouri after having tough opponents the first 3 weeks of SEC play. They will beat us if we think we are gonna just coast through the weekend.

    Agree, I think there is more potential there than with others....and probably would like to see a longer leash.
    But it's also a little scary he has struggled so badly and that's exclusively facing pitching from one side....he hasn't even faced guys he struggles with. What would the numbers look like if he was facing righty and lefty?
