I'll cut him some slack and assume he only meant they will send their coach to watch the series with cheap tickets.

Yes, sir, for sure… I know slates ended up giving up three runs today, but didn’t have the best of luck, and then for Neely to come in and deliver a grand salami…. if you have watched just about everything like I have the bigger question is when does Neely completely get back to being Neely. His outing against Stetson wasn’t great and this was another one… I know he has a good ball and some guy on the other side would say his RPMs or spin rate is major league level, but still have to locate it

Oh yeah, to me he’s in the top three… And I know Slater gave up some base runners today, but he didn’t give up the grand slam and I’m more worried about Neely struggling The last two appearances were two out Of three for sure, but now that I think about it, his last three appearances have all been not so great.

It was , however he still slows his mechanics and at times the arm just can’t find slot . But it was better . A lot of strike 1 today. Potentially best pitcher in America. Got a ways to go . Needs 1 more year at UF after this:););)

A great change and his velo from the left side is unfair. A so-so slider with those pitches is ungodly. A good slider and he is unhittable unless they guess right.

Did I say that I loved his change? OMG.

The kid is now pitching and not just throwing.

Needs to be our Friday night guy. Guys like this only come around once in a while and need to utilize him as much as possible in all aspects. His stuff says Friday not Sunday.

I like the rotation as it is . But we have 3 quality guys for sure. Got to find a middle arm or two is a much more pressing ingredient

I'm glad Cags got to show what we were seeing back in the fall. Better control with higher velo and on some days picking his spots. This was pretty close the whole way thru. Its also good to see we might have one starter ready to handle 5+ innings on a regular basis. Even if he has to be the Sunday guy he might have built some trust for Sully to make bigger decisions on Saturday's available arms.

Being the Sunday guy isn't really bad. If he pitches even close to like he did today he will be better than most everyone's #3 guy giving UF a big advantage in closing out a series.

Sully doesn’t pitch him until Sunday so he can hit and play first base. If he pitches on Friday you’re going to lose him for Saturday and Sunday after effects of pitching Friday are still in play IMHO.

I believe Sully has won more series down there than FLORIDA ever had prior to his arrival (7 vs. 6). 7-2 in series wins; 18-9 overall (35-73 prior to 2008); 2 sweeps, and 5 straight series in CG!

12-4 in last 16 games played down there (I'm not above cherry-picking the sweep-breaking win on Sunday in '14!)

    Go GATORS!
