No, we were in the student / fraternity block seating on the east hard stands. It was tough sledding for y'all in the wooden bleachers of the SEZ. The Yon Hall dirt parking lot was down behind that, IIRC.

 

Hearing them do that bastardized version of OUR chant makes my skin crawl.

 

After watching the entire game on Saturday, I didn't tune in last night, thought about it but I just wanted to go to sleep still believing we had a shot to be champs. I don't know why but I was nearly convinced in my mind that LSU was going sweep so I decided I just wanted to stay in my fantasy by kicking the can down the road until the next day. Even during the night when I woke up I thought about checking the score on my phone but resisted.
When woke up this morning to read about this historic destruction of the corndogs, Wow! What a feeling!
Maybe I'll do the same thing tonight!?

 

Yes, do that. The last thing you should do is change what your Routine the night before. Lol.

I didn't check Twitter until 2 hours in (my usual game avoidance tactic). First tweet I saw said something about LSU players pissed at Rivera for stealing 2d "up 12". I thought, "That can't be right." I then decided that, at a 12 run lead, I was safe to go watch so I got to see the last 9 runs. Lots of fun!

I'll stick to that routine tonight.

 

So it's settled then! Everybody just do the exact same thing you did last night.. there is no use in rolling the and messing with the mojo!

 

Yes, please try it again. If you wake up and we lost, please do not ever do this again, because we cannot analyze if this routine works for us or not. Do you have any lucky shirts or rabbits feet?

My Story

 

I was busy setting up a new computer, the game was on the TV, but I turned the sound off so I didn't have to listen to those meatheads. I would unmute when when we did something good, like Ty's first dinger just to hear them reluctantly say something positive. It became a regular feature the rest of the way.

I had been wearing my 2017 NC Gator shirt, but it didn't work Saturday so I decided to change my approach. I wore my blue and orange Northwest Whitfield High School (Tunnel Hill, GA) shirt. I taught English there for over twenty years. It's also Cade Fisher's alma mater. That shirt has a good mojo; I'll be wearing it again tonight.
