Absolutely the worst case scenario for a first inning we could have, and not just because we have fallen behind Fisher threw almost 40 pitches. That’s a big problem and they have their number one on the hill. We will have to change our approach at the plate and quit swinging for the downs or we stand no chance

 

Yeah, problem is a little bit too late as he needs to do that all the time. As you know gotta trust your stuff. I don’t feel he’s a true number one, but he still needs to trust his stuff

Just need contact here. Typically I would say look one and adjust to two… But with Holman, I would almost stay back on the off speed pitch and try to drive it and then adjust to his fastball. I’ve never ever ever said that before but he’s throwing two offspeed pitches to every fastball
