Our bottom is not competitive

Goes to show the guru Sully is w pitchers, Cags right now is arguably our best pitcher and just three weeks ago lots of people, including me, thought he might not be a starter anymore. Since then, I believe Cags is one of the best around his last three starts with one of the best ERA’s around in the last three weeks.

 

Everybody’s still trying to pull outside breaking balls for the three hopper to their SS.

I wanted to see his era...he has 30 pitches
Cags already at 32 before even pitching the bottom of 3rd
@74nole...what are we not seeing or is their pitcher that great?

 

I’ve already said—we continue to try and pull away breaking balls creating weak ground balls rather than GO WITH THE PITCH.

 

Cags only added 8 pitches to his total..started the inning with 32..now at 40
That was much better, but our bats need to adjust and start hitting this guy
