I’m stressing. Should start Liam Peterson . Let him go 90 pitches and should be good for Friday for 100 pitches. Then repeat each week .

I’d like to see Aidan King get the start.

My guess is Nico and Billy for this week’s starters. Possibly Billy first so he’d be available for a longer relief this weekend if needed.

@wingtee - We will most likely be there. That is a really nice park overlooking the St Johns.

According to the box scores, none of those guys threw any pitches, so they should all be good to go.

    Go GATORS!

Barlow and King would be my guess for mid week starters. King threw one inning Saturday and he's a freshman so Sully will likley hold him for Wednesday game at home- -but the weather forecast is not the greatest for Wed. Barlow has been up and down in scrimmages so it may be a three inning start and then use Menendez and some of the newbies in the middle innings.

I’m just guessing that Sully may want to give King a chance to pitch before family and friends in Jacksonville. Just a guess.

Yeah, the Wednesday game is probably going to either be re-scheduled or concelled.

Good point! King is from Jacksonville ... but he did throw on Saturday-- not sure his pitch count but I suppose you could give him the start and let him go 60 pitches or so.

Yeah we used to get the ball every 4th game regardless of the calendar date.

I am trying to remember the rules on Little League pitching back in the day. I think it was based on innings and not pitch count.

That’s what I remember about youth baseball but from HS, American Legion, and College baseball we got the ball every 4th game of the schedule.

When I coached LL in the late 80's and early 90's it was based on the number of pitches thrown.

Little League when I played was one weekend game and one weekday game. I know that I pitched almost every weekend and often pitched midweek but I think that there was some rule that I couldn't pitch complete games for both of them.

There were rules to keep a team from just pitching the same guy for every inning but I don't remember them and the rules might have changed from the 1960's to now.
