Thanks for joining the conversation. It’s always interesting watching people come out when we start to suck. They’re noticeably absent when we’re winning.

 

This team has certainly been disappointing but saying "Sully has gotten Fat and Happy"?? ??

It must have happened over night since Sully was one game from a NC last year.

Sully’s scouting report seems off- said we had to establish the inner half because they do such a good job covering the outer half… I’ve not seen a team hit the ball on the inner half as good as Florida State has. There’s no way they can be half as good on the outer half as they are on the inner half. Our problem is even with two strikes. We stayed on the inner half and threw too many strikes/caught too much plate.


Offensively, the first game we have 3 to 4 singles and a double or triple I would say that will be a celebration. For the most part all we do is hit home runs

 

"Ruin the year for him"?? If having to throw 2 innings is going to ruin him and he is done for the season that's his problem. Maybe some of these guys need to be left out there and forced to dig deep rather than hanging their heads and waiting to get rescued. No place to hide on the mound, tough love time.

 

Sully sounded rather subdued in his interview.

Actually wish satin would have pitched more of this game. Florida State will struggle with lefties, and they have quite a few in their lineup

 

at least he didn’t give up a homer ha ha

 

Yeah, I don't get the fat and happy vibe from Sully. I think this year's team, a lot like LSU just has a void in leadership. I think what he described is what happens at Ole Miss and Miss State. They won NC's, then collapsed.
