Cool cred but you have plenty of company around here in that regard so you should know better than to throw out all the hyperbole. I think most here see the issues with this team.
Btw, last years pitching staff was pretty good ....all the way to the NC game. This year pitching is obviously a major issue.

last years was pretty good with 2 starters...Jac was not ready period..so we were 2 deep and have to work around the others. We had Hudson and Sproat and both had their ups and downs. We had 4 other really serviceable pitchers. That is what lost the World Series, not enough depth on the staff. Was a great run..after 2 years of basically mediocre teams since we were mediocre in league play..

Kids transferred that could have helped. They were recruited over but definitely could have helped.

I've said it before, but I'm compelled to repeat it. When a coach that's considered to be one of the top recruiters in College Baseball gets it right 75%-80% of the time, life is good. Particularly when your forte is recruiting and developing a stacked roster of pitchers. Have that recruiting hit rate be 50%, and you've got 3-4 guys in your lineup every night that are walking outs. And pitchers throwing it center cut on 1-2 counts. Sound familiar? As an aside. There are 3-4 guys in this thread that would have won more World Series Championships in Atlanta than Bobby Cox. And yet he's in the HOF.

It's all about the Jimmies and Joes.

They are extracting all of their revenge in one season. Remember they have not swept since 2000 and the 1st three game winning streak since 2010-2011 and Sully has totally dominated them since his arrival.

This year the mid weeks have been awful and unfortunately 3 have been against them.

Martin and Bowden are having a good time tonight but they know this is not going to be a normal occurrence.
