He’s been pretty solid over there this year, but he is not having a good night.

 

And I’m good with that.

 

Nesbitt pitched good enough. Deserved a better fate. Concerned we weren’t focused enough to make routine plays.

 

I like the way Halter talked to Jac on the mound while pitchers were changing out. Cags obviously rattled, Halter settling him down. Leadership.

 

Tonight alone moves him to DH. This is a big game.

 

We didn’t help him offensively either

 

Are we expecting too much from Cags? Defensively, once his feet are set there is no more adjustment.

 

We agree. I hope Sully sticks w him in mid week. Kid deserves it after no support tonight.

 

Halter looks like a guy that will be a good coach. He’s always with the coaches in the dugout and always coaching guys up in the field and in the dugout. Even when he’s not playing.

 

Looked safe, but I wear glasses.

 

I thought he was the number 1 recruit in the country at 1b. If so, I don’t think we’re expecting too much.
