I suggest this year may be the most impressive achievement by Sully. He stayed calm and focused while he coached the team. They seem to be playing at the level we expected at the beginning of the season

Took long enough but they jelled into a team without a minute to spare

I don’t usually watch them but know Wilson and Neely both did one last week.

Wow, what a fun postseason. Ending Nebraska's season was nice. Winning the Stillwater regional was big. Getting game one in Clemson was huge. Thanks to all the Diamond Gators who post here. I mostly lurk and enjoy reading from the folks who follow baseball more closely. Big thanks to @Gatorgal04 for running the show and thanks to all the great Gator baseball enthusiasts, even @wingtee! :p

...and the baserunner does not get credit for a stolen base. In order to have a scorer's entry for the runner advancing, the term defensive (or fielder's) indifference was invented.

    Not me.

Neely likes the challenge and a high heater is exactly what a pitcher throws to challenge a hitter. It looks so hittable but it ain't.

Well, Yogi could hit it but he could hit anything.

Dale Murphy could get around on a high fast ball but he was unique.

When they get ahold of one, they go a long way. High heat with that much run on it is hard to catch up to though.

Yogi and Roberto Clemente were both excellent “bad ball” hitters.
