Strickland has only been to 3 post seasons in 10 years.. has to be done if miss again this year.

Certainly not for lack of talent IMo.

Two or three weeks ago was the last time I saw them on TV when he was brought into a game—he didn’t make it out of that inning, gave up back to back doubles and then walked one—then they pulled him.

Actually just heard Butch is tinkering w/ rotation again

Fri Will Cannon.. has been closer/backend guy.. More of power arm (93-95) from right side

Sat John Armstrong.. this one shocks me.. hes the go to guy for ground balls when in a jam.. sidearmer RH.. been hit hard lately. Wont be surprised if see Friday if needed.. rubber arm, and wont go more than 2 or 3 regardless in any outing

Sun Tommy Vail been Fri. guy last 3 weeks,, TCU transfer.. LH high 80s good change..usually good first time through order.. hasnt made it 5 yet dont think

Took the highly rated FR Zach Crotchfelt out of rotation,,had been in all year.. only one bad start really,,last week.

Basically u get the 'ace' game 3,,pitching backwards as should be when outmanned..not sure makes much difference this weekend though..lol

And by 'ace'..the closest they have w/ 1-2-3 all out

Georgia always has talent as the Atlanta area alone is loaded. Uga can't seem to recruit it and when they do can't coach it up. And Georgia fans don't seem to care all that much.

Of course they do have that 1990 NC to talk about, unlike some teams.

    2x—

One of the key members of that 1990 UGA NC team was Mike Rebhan, RHP and CWS MVP. I coached Mike for two years @ Lake City Community College before he transferred to UGA. He was our #1 SP and a hard worker. I enjoyed coaching him.

I think hes had the talent, or plenty compared to others in league that do better. lineup as good as any this year..so far,,just no pitching. Was top 8 seed 3-4 years ago. Which I assume why still employeed,, but youre right Uga fans dont much care, at least untill they win alot.. Thats about half the SEC at least(incl au) uga needs stadium upgrade too. but back to caring

    90 title & lost to a 4 seed in 08 final. 4 cws trips in 2000s

In desperate times people do desperate things. This should set up Cags and Langford very well to have a big weekend.
Earl Crotchfelt, you can't make this stuff up.

yep. better than Feltcrotch I guess..;)

Zach Crotchfelt - Baseball - Auburn University Athletics (auburntigers.com)

good chance will be in early on Sat. Even if Sat starter is perfect, will still only be out there 1 time through order at most.

Actually i got a feeling Butch will save what he thinks are best arms for Sunday & put all eggs in that basket and hope for 1 win. But that could change if a lead after 5. All the pitchers are pretty much the same as far as expectations . Might be good a couple innings, might not..

You won't get any sympathy from this board. I'm hoping for 3 Gator RR's. LOL.

Crazy to see people who think we are just going to walk over Auburn. Would be great if it happened but nobody is a pushover in this league.

Its the pitching, or lack there of for aub. And no freindly confines of home park to help keep ball in yard. They pitch to the 30 ft wall in LF at home. Or try to.
