Baseball Around the SEC, Week 6 (3/23 - 3/29/23)

There's going to be more than normal the amount of corndogs eaten in Baton Rouge this weekend. That's the matchup to keep an eye on with Arky coming in to Tigerville.

 

AU ace out up to 6 more weeks..lol might as well just redshirt him.. I feared this when he spent all summer wasting pitches w/ national team.

More of a basketball rivalry but a rivalry nontheless.

Used to be a big basketball rivalry with Kansas but KU tries to avoid them as much as they can.

 

Auburn wearing those ugly unis again. The pitcher with the white socks and shoes looks like he is in the the church slow pitch league. LOL.

AU 9th was first(only) SEC inning scoring more than 1 so far. And have given up at least 1 big inning(3 or more) per game. pitching is pretty good outside of those somehow.

Maybe this will turn the mojo, but not holding breath. This roster will be good just doubt it will be this year.

And yes the blue pajamas are turrible..but still undefeated in them.

How is it that Arky and LSU get to play at 1 PM on Friday and its only on SEC+. This is no TV contract that the mother ship wanted an early game. So did their game get bumped up for weather the day before but ours still sits waiting to see if we have to play a DH on Saturday? What's going on? Their Friday game was originally scheduled for 7 PM.

You're becoming obsessed with rainouts. lol. Let it go Matherly Let it go. The LSU-Ark game does have a TV issue - they are starting it on SEC+ because of a scheduling conflict but it will switch over to SEC Network.


• Game 1 on Friday will also be televised on the SEC Network beginning in approximately the 2nd or 3rd inning after prior programming is completed

 

So that series gets all 3 on network(s) ?? and bet they are all 3 routs.. Ark pitching is hog poo.

 

the radar guns per park discrepency is comical. AU guys that max at 93 at home, were hitting 98 in Arkansas last week..lol and it was 28 degrees lol

LSU seems to be using same gun as Ark. and many others.

 

Their starter looked great today.

 

yeah i wasnt expecting LSU to be as or more enemic than AU was against him.. Hes like a midweek guy,, 89-90 confuses good sec hitters..lol

AU only 3 Ks vs him in 6 innings, lots of well hit at em balls,, not really case for LSU today,,not when Ive been watching,,paying more attention to Noles-UVa

 

Skenes has left the game with LSU down 1-0 going into the 8th against Arky. If Arky can find a way to hang on Skenes will get his first loss of the year.

 

Kansas has at least 3 transfers starting in SEC.. rock chalk
