    About half the acc started conf play. The 2 west coast acc teams made a little statement in their debuts lastnight. Cal 14 - Duke 1 (7) and Stanford 13 -9 over Heels.(UNC 3 run 9th to make look better) Both series in Carolina

    BC also took game 1 at UVa

    OOC, but Canes lost opener to UConn

    yeah its all silly(conferences) Ive been saying for 20+ years, get rid of all of them.. which will eventually be the end result Id wager. Maybe not in our lifetimes though.

    AU blew 9-2 lead after 6.. Lost 11-9. No errors, just ODU hitting lots of grounders where they aint, capped by 3 run HR for lead.

    AU gets 9 off ODU starter, who came in w/ 0.00 ERA in 20 IP & 40 Ks. But then nothing off lesser arms..silly game.

    Side note on ODU.. no true home games this year. Getting brand new stadium(ready next year) so not left out of hosting again.
