Baseball Around the SEC - Week 12 (5/2 - 5/8/24)

it looked like that 6 weeks ago. Now its mathmatically impossible, which is why they won via 3 WP/PB lastnight. Now that theres NO chance, the weird things will start to go there way.. Will probably win out now. 3-15 in sec games decided by 2 runs or less. Harder to do than 15-3 IMO

They will finish ranked somewhere between 2 - 305,, does it really matter where?? nope.

 

The last 2 innings were entertaining, unlike Saturday's UF/UTn RR.

 

Pretty much like end of almost every AU sec game this year. Bounces just went their way for once,,since it no longer matters.

But yeah the AU 9th was comical.. Down 1, first 2 outs quick...then triple, PH single, PR then adv to 2nd on WP, 3rd on PB, walks its off on PB..lol Was no doubt in mind OM would at least tie it in 9th.. Even if Nolan Ryan were the closer. just way it is this year

I was rooting for extra innings personally.. might as well get as many innings possible in the last 7 games.. And obviously didnt deserve to win that.. I hate opp. Es as much as my own. I dont cheer futility..lol

 

My math was off actually on AU mathmaticaly eliminated. Win out(@ Mizz, Bama), and need a sweep in lsu @ Bama series, preferably by LSU. Then would tie Bama w/ the tiebreaker in that scenario. LSU and OM could also lose out and AU win out would work. 1 win by either elinate s AU passing w/ tie breaker. I guess could still tie UF also, Im sure would lose tie breaker..lol

Adding is fine, especially if had rainouts,,, Its the cancelling for no reeason to protect rpi that is bush league. Which OM has also done
