Nope , havent seen either ranked anywhere. I didnt go past start of SEC, so might be some mid week games vs ranked teams.

 

I don't know if I should be sad or gleeful with these rivals falling on bad times. In the past they gave us good early season games.

I suspect both programs will bounce back.

 

Vandy scores 2 in the bottom of the 9th to walk off the baseball juggernaut that is FAU, and celebrates accordingly. Based on the way their players rushed the field, one coulda sworn they’d just won a super and were headed to Omaha.

Also, mid-February in Nashville looks a bit… dreary.

 

Mizzu ended up splitting DH w/ Cal Poly. Lost 3-2, won 3-1. So sec 13-2 on opening day.

I gave up on OM-Hawaii in 11th at 3 am.. Rebs squeeked it out in 13, 5-4.

Fabian started Fri & Sun games at 3b, 9 hole. DNP the Sat game.

Sun 3/4 BB, 2B, 3 RBI most importantly no E5s..lol

3b is realy only unsettled spot for AU.. there is a much better defensive option, started 2nd game, was everyday starter at 2b last year. Also a LH bat option in mix . But I think they will give Fabian the chance to hit his way in the line up, if adequate in field. Not a bad start.

 

7(half) of SEC ended up losing a game. Vols a chance to lose 2 later.

12 of T25 in all 3 major polls ( BA, d1 & coaches poll) w/ a loss.

Only 1 in each w/out a win..

 

Started watching Wash. @ LBST n 9th, while waiting on Vols to start(keep it sec related) now in 15th. Identical line scores 3-8-1. Longest home game in Dirtbag history they said.

On to the 17th in Long Beach.

Didnt realise Ole Miss was playing a 4th game in Hawaii.. Down 10-4 in 6th

The Witchita St transfer P for Vols and his 100 mph sinker was pretty good in relief. And the Clemson transfer Billy Amick is a problem at plate. triple off wall and HR in upper deck tonight.
