The thing about NIL, it seems to have leveled the playing field. No longer can bama stack 5 and 4 star players with underhanded payments. Now paying players is legal for everyone thus teams like bama no longer can stack back up players.

My Bama friend had him in the hot seat since day 1 when he was hired. They don't like him and his west coast up ringing. No ties to the south for recruiting and knowledge of football down here, etc. Plus following Saban as you said.
