Booted in the first round. Over rated, over seeded, finished the regular season no better than the Gators.
Add LSU yo the list. Three of six tesms can't make it past the first round. Lot of good teams out there
So we have gone from "the SEC got screwed from the lack of respect" to "the SEC got screwed because we got seeded too high." Yep, fans are the short form for fanatics. Personally, I think we got "right seeded" and our self congratulations got in the way. If anything happens it seems that Tennessee may play with a chip on their shoulder. We shall see.
Yeah, I really didn't get the feeling that the SEC got screwed. It wasn't nearly as strong as some have suggested.
Odd about Bama, they played terrific out of the gate and got progressively worse during the season. Pretty much the opposite of what any coach or fan base wants. But it happens, Bama is certainly not the first.
Not sure if you watched the game, but about 4 minutes in - they lost their 2nd leading scorer with a knee injury. Looked like ACL to me. I mean - feel free to be happy about their loss if you want - but just like we were plagued by injuries all year, I personally won't give out ratings on who is better or best or worst, etc. because those injuries have an impact of a team's performance. Who knows how the game ends if Quinnery isn't injured. I'm just pointing out that they were not only short-handed - they were without one of their key players. SAN DIEGO -- Alabama guard Jahvon Quinerly suffered a "significant knee injury" in the opening minutes of the Crimson Tide's 78-64 loss to Notre Dame. Quinerly, Alabama's second-leading scorer, is set to graduate this spring and planned to test the NBA waters, according to Alabama coach Nate Oats. Quinerly, who averaged 14.3 points per game this season, suffered the injury driving the lane during the first half. His absence changed the complexion of the game. "That's a big loss for them, great guard," Notre Dame coach Mike Brey said. "Having the two of them [Quinerly and Jaden Shackelford] together is what really makes them go. So that really changed them. "They got cut down to one playmaker and he was exhausted." Alabama's Quinerly has 'significant' knee injury
The Bama Analytics said they were going to win... what is happening to our world when Analytics don't work??? Good thing we are not basing the whole future of UF basketball on Analytics and an inexperienced coach and instead going with great players and experienced coaching... Oh wait.. Shit
You keep saying as if it’s black and white…either analytics or great players. Great players have great analytics if a coach can put them in position to perform. Let’s get some more info before we bash the dude.
I'm pulling for Arkansas to make a run, I like Musselman.. I used to listen to some Vegas sports betting shows and they were very high on him st Nevada, I liked what I heard.
