I think the antique car collection is typically nuts too but it is relatively harmless.

You have to be adjudicated by court. Baker acted folks voluntarily turn over guns all the time and then get them back when they are “better”. The percentage of mentally ill that are unable to buy a gun is small.

Ha Ha - you'd be surprised. When they are flying high and it is windy they almost laugh at you :)

    Been there done that. Lol

I used to dove hunt with a Florida game officer (lieutenant). Once he got his 13 dove limit he would put them in a paper bag and have them sent to the ranch foreman’s wife for cleaning and keep shooting dove.

How do you define “normal”? Should one have to prove “normalcy” in order to get guns? So how do you keep guns away from people that aren’t “normal”?

Yes I agree it’s unfortunate for the guard he wasn’t better trained to handle that criminal. I used to live in the city and had armed guards at the grocery store too. It always felt so progressive and enlightening to shop there. Now we live 20+ miles north and our local Publix is safe and fantastic.

Where do these wack jobs get the money for their guns/ammo/body armor.
Didn’t the last school shooter have 12-15k in weapons and ammo and body armor? Kid didn’t have a real job and has a Daniel defense ar?
This guys has an easy 10k in that bag on the side walk.. easy. Yes, I have a lot invested in my guns… and have been collecting, buying, reloading, etc… for years. Are these nut jobs spending years assembling their gear?

Was he denied for mental health reasons, or for abuse (presumably spousal)?

Then why are there far more violent crimes committed with guns in America, than any other first-world nation?

What percentage of gun owners in America do you think are as responsible as you?

mental health. The guy is psychopathic and legit crazy (as in ranting about the Illuminati coming to get him, writing his own “testaments”, and trying to run for president) but suprisingly has never actually been convicted of domestic abuse. My wife had a restraining order against him at one point here in FL but the mental health thing was what got him denied and arrested in VA
