    Good grief.
CBN's offense was a thing of beauty in the first half Saturday. Long sustained drives and points on the board at the end. With the one exception.
He admitted that he probably went overly conservative in the 2nd half; but it worked out pretty well.

Love the defensive progress. UT got away with a flagrant foul on the 1st big play. Grotesque no call. Other than that, the only downer for me was the push after contact. I think their OLINE must be taught not to block but get behind the ball carrier and push.

It happens, but if it makes you feel better it was not intentional.

Also, I don "copy" work from other people. I invest plenty of my own time to these boards, and everyone here duplicates links an accident.

When you read and post as often as I do, you'll find that it will happen to you like it happens to me... all the time. But the difference is that I don't accuse people of duplicating my work here like you did. Get over it... as I do when it happens to me.

It’s natural to get excited when a D that has been soft for quite some time suddenly stiffens up when you need it most.

Obviously an old thread being reincarnated.

IMO, Armstrong is a very nice addition. But I would categorize him as a really effective long reliever. In other words, he has come in and saved the team's butt because the starter was less-than-inspiring.

To the OP, IMO the best hire Billy has made is Raymond. He is going to be gold in both development AND recruiting. And unless there is some "creative differences" between Napier and he, I can't see him leaving for another gig. Armstrong will hopefully be around for let's say 5 more years.

    Nice post te.
Hey, I like Austin to. Great hire, but I imagine Napier could have hired YOU, and if you did all your coaching remotely via teams meetings, you could have hardly done worse than the last three years.

Point being, it was almost hard for UF to do anything BUT get better under Austin.

One thing that jumps at me about this defense is they can, and have, got exploited early in games, they adjust, settle in and play pretty well.

I am disappointed in two areas:
Turnovers (there are none ( almost )
    Lack of QB pressure

I also think it's too early to put Austin over Raymond. Way to early.
