I suppose if the first amendment only applies to typewriters and printing presses

Taking your position to the opposite extreme I suppose that for protection against a tyrannical government individuals in ad hoc militias should be able to own helicopter gunships, fighter jets, and surface-to-surface and surface to air missiles and launchers.

You carry that in a bowling alley? I'm genuinely curious. Can you either provide a photo or share the precise name of the handgun scope, so I can look it up?

I don’t know what he’s carrying, but on compact pistols you’re probably talking about something like a Trijicon RMR, a Holosun 507k, or a Sig Romeo Zero.

this happened last summer about 15 miles from where we were fishing and in an area we intend to do some hiking next year. 44 took down a swo and he walked out. calm, lucky, not sure. i carry an air horn for bears at a distance not responding to voice and bear spray. might have to reconsider carrying the bear whistle for oh shit in this area. SKilak Lake in the middle of the Kenai. A state ranger also killed one with a handgun at the Russian River ferry about a week after this one but they were working that bear trying to move it out and it charged someone that was armed and ready for it. this hiker was fortuante to have been carrying but it is a hot area for bears and thick brush in places.. rangers never found her two cubs, no idea if they were young or yearlings

Sterling man survives brown bear attack by shooting and killing bear - Alaska Public Media

A Sterling man survived a brown bear attack north of the Skilak Lake Road area this weekend by shooting and killing the bear, according to Alaska Wildlife Troopers.

Troopers say 34-year-old Nicholas Abraham of Sterling was rabbit hunting Saturday evening in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge when he was attacked by a female brown bear with two cubs. Abraham was able to shoot and kill the sow with a .44 handgun, according to the trooper dispatch, and was later treated for minor injuries at a Kenai Peninsula hospital.

A trooper spokesperson said the attack happened a mile north of Mile 73.5 of the Sterling Highway, inside the refuge and past the west entrance to Skilak Lake Road.

Thanks. From what I see in photos, those could indeed be conceal carried. Don't think I'd want to shoot it out against an AR, but I see one could have the aiming technology on hand. I also wonder how the physics plays out in terms of range and accuracy, given the wildly different barrel lengths between a rifle and a handgun.

Gun violence in America is one of the biggest contributing factors (second only to team MAGA) to our country circling the toilet or more appropriately sinking deeper in to the Petra pottie.

I’ll allow it as a revenant point.

When craphole country finally decides to do something about its mass shooting problem, I will stop referring to it as craphole country. Until then, as along as people continue to randomly get slaughtered by deranged mass shooters, and the people in charge continue to sit on their asses and do nothing, I shall continue to refer to it as such.

Hey bro - you live in a shithole country. And I’ll tell you again the next time a domestic terrorist shoots up a crowd of people and this country does jack shit about it.

I don't own any personal guns, but I can easily knock down a target from 300m away with the factory iron sights. Don't need optics if you are good, Mr. 2A. :D

Based on this nut's Twitter account, of course he was a hard core Trumper. And for some reason, Elon decided to go in and scrub his account once he was identified.

He was a particular fan of Donnie Junior's unhinged and violence promoting tweets.

The problem is the availability of these types of guns. We can’t keep them out of the hands of the mentally I’ll or criminals. Do you think Robert Card cared about the law barring him from using a gun? And the proliferation of these guns does not justify not banning them. The Second Amendment is not absolute. Justice Scalia said that in the pistol case. And, another start— and it’s long term— is to elect presidents who nominate intellectually honest Supreme Court justices for whom textuality only matters for laws they don’t like.

Not surprised a MAGA-coddling piece of garbage like Musk would use his piece of garbage, MAGA-friendly app to cover for a domestic terrorist MAGA piece of garbage like Robert Card. I expect vile, trash behavior from that contingent and they never disappoint.
