Are you so naive to believe that what became an obvious cheap solution was pushed to the side until a tunnel visioned policy could be put in place for a new drug that failed in the grand scheme?

    We completely ignored basic medicine.

I think you lack even rudimentary knowledge as to what basic medicine is or how decisions are made by either public health officials or medical doctors. For example, steroids were heavily used throughout the pandemic. Here is a review article on the initial testing in 2019-2020.

Corticosteroid use in COVID-19 patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis on clinical outcomes

I’m not wrong. Natural immunity against Covid may have lasted longer for the Delta variant, but the boosters provide longer protection among vaccinated people. Regardless, protection isn’t permanent among either the vaccinated nor the unvaccinated, so while the vaccinated group just needs the booster the unvaccinated group is waiting to get sick again. Brilliant people those unvaccinated folks.

I never said it was silly, just silly to some. As far as people on my side saying natural immunity to Covid is superior goes…..I don’t care. I’ve been vaxed and never got sick.

Steroids didn't work. If a basic treatment worked, none of us would have even heard of covid.

Omicron did not care. That said natural immunity was superior and any honest person whether they were wrong in the beginning or not will admit this. One of the things I respect about @AzCatFan even though they try to justify the unnecessary shot even with superior immunity from natural infection.

End of the day…young and healthy people had nothing to worry about outside of normal life. We peddled unnecessary fear to control people with propaganda. And it unfortunately worked.

That's just stupid Monday morning QB stuff. They had to learn how best to treat covid. They learned pretty quickly that steroids helped and started using them.

What did not work was the ventilator and tunnel vision super expensive medicines.

Did steroids work every time? Of course not. That is not how medicine works. But we absolutely failed in our response to find ways to treat this disease.

No. The idiots in charge failed by ignoring basic science and medicine. But they have you on a booster schedule now most likely. LOL!

I tend to think this is the issue:

Why Narcissists Think They Know More Than Experts

I don't know that there is a better sentence to sum up his behavior around here. He truly believes that all the experts are idiots (and, in turn, he is smarter than all of them) and that only "propaganda" stops other people from realizing this fundamental truth. One wonders how much he will invest in his quest to make everybody realize this (when, in reality, nobody really believes him on the overarching point).

I tried to redirect it. But narcissists need all the attention they can get. I will stop posting in this thread.

Again, another topic the OP and others on both sides want to politicize. Bottom-line is Covid killed a lot of people including a couple of friends of mine. It was a health crisis we haven’t faced in many years and it’s important for health officials to now look back and learn from what happened.

Let the OP stick his chest out and tell everyone “I told you so” when he actually had no clue. At the same time, let the libs get defensive and fight back with their often idiotic comments. Personally, I’m just happy that the Covid threat has died down and feel blessed my family was able to stay relatively healthy during the crisis.

I would agree with you completely but then we’d both be wrong. Have a nice evening.

Careful coco, our resident libs will cancel you for creating too much carbon if you burn them. Maybe it would be safer if you just donate them to those of us that soho wants to die in the next “pandemic”. That way we can stick around and torment him a little longer.

Part of the "plandemic" was to arrest those great people with free will and common sense...

I see pure communism... and the Nat's arresting a Constitutionally free American.
