What is with three takeaways in sports journalism now? It is the most common thing on the Gainesville Sun's sports page. Did somebody hold a seminar and tell them it is the new outline much like the five paragraph essay they now teach in high school? And it is much more common than any Gator baseball stories in the Sun. There has been no coverage of our at home weekend series against Mizzou. Not even scores. But full stories on any late round football player drafted.
Ocala Star Banner and Gainesville Sun are published and printed from the same place. We cancelled our Star Banner subscription 6 years ago and haven't missed it a bit. Overpriced rag, IMO.
For years I got the Gainesville Sun because it had the NYT crossword puzzle but always a few weeks late. Now they don't except for Sunday and also late but my MIL bought me the NYT crossword puzzle for a year for my last birthday. If you ask me the Independent Alligator is a better source of local news. And the Iguana. Funny joke. There used to be Moon Magazine. My wife never got the joke until I explained it to her.

I watched some of the highlights of other SEC baseball teams and the crap those teams get way with is ridiculous... We have the most well behaved team in the entire SEC... talking about Neely's suspension for looking at the other team while screaming, "let's go" in their direction. Yes, and now this new NCAA crap, in the 11th week of baseball, on Waldrep?
